PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY





          Gary Casterline is a recognized expert in plastics engineering with a proven history of success in plastics processing. Gary's expertise includes choosing the best material for applications, part design for function and cost reduction, process and design changes through failure mode analysis to eliminate quality and functional defects, and training of personnel on plastics part design and design of experiments. Internally referred to as the "global plastics expert" within Delphi Corporation's Warren, OH, facility, Gary was responsible for plastic materials selection for 500 new designs per year and authored more than 20 global plastics and testing specifications per year. Gary was a member of the Delphi Nanomaterials Development Team and a member and Chairman (2-year term) of the General Motors Plastics Committee.



         Gary has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Plastic Processing, from the General Motors Institute (Kettering University) in Flint, MI, and a Masters of Science Degree in Industrial Administration (11 month accelerated program) from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, in W. Lafayette, IN.


          Gary is a Senior Member of the Society of Plastics Engineers and is a two-term (non-consecutive) President of Cleveland Section including 2008-9. Previous positions held include chairman of programs, awards, public interest, education and website development. Gary received the Outstanding Achievement Award from Cleveland Section in 2005.
